Screenshots & Screen recording

There are three ways to take a screenshot on vivo phone:

1. For Funtouch OS 11.0 and some phones such as Y20i, you can slide upward with 3 fingers on the screen to take a screenshot fast.

2. Simultaneously hold down the Volume down button and the Power button to take a screenshot.

For the vivo phone with Funtouch OS 3.1 and lower version, simultaneously hold down the Home button and the Power button to take a screenshot.

3. Super screenshot: Slipping upward from the bottom of screen, find and click S-capture>Rectangular or Long screenshot to take a screenshot.

1. Select S-capture in the shortcut zone;

2. Select Long screenshot in the suspension frame of the screenshot interface after closing the panel;

3. Adjust the upper frame position of the screenshot frame and select the starting point of the long screen;

4. Click the Next scrolled list to the next screen;

5. Before saving the long screen, adjust the lower frame to select ending point of the screenshot;

Click save and finish screenshot.

Slide upward from the bottom of the screen to bring up Control Center>find and touch S-capture>select Record screen(Screen recording), then you can make a screen recording. If you cannot bring up Control Center, please check if Bring it up on an app interface is turned off in Settings>More settings>Control Center. If yes, please turn it on for a try.

Warmly Tips: If the sounds need to be recorded, please go to Settings>Screenshot(Super capture)>(S-capture) to turn on Record voice. For Funtouch OS 2.5 and lower version, you can achieve it via the third-party apps such as Du recorder.

Of course you can. Please go to Albums>choose the screenshot>Edit>Clip+Rotate, and then you can slide to change the photo size.

For Funtouch OS 2.6 and lower version, enter Albums>choose the photo>touch 3 dots icon at the upper right corner>Crop picture, then you can adjust the Image Frame to change the photo size.

Please don`t worry, go to Settings>Screenshot>S-capture(Super screenshot) to check if Record voice is turned on. If yes, make sure the sound can be received by Microphone as only the sound which can be received by Microphone can be recorded. If the issue still exists, follow these steps for a try:

1. Clear the data of Super screenshot;

2. Clean the Microphone, then try to make a screen recording;

3. Updateyour phone to the latest version;

4. Go to Settings>More settings>Backup and Reset>Restore(Reset) all settings, no data or media will be deleted.

If above measures are not effective, please feel free to contact us.

1. If the available space of your phone is insufficient, this feature cannot be performed. Please enter Settings>(More settings)>Storage/RAM and storage space to check whether the system space of your phone and SD card is sufficient;

2. Clear the data of Super screenshot;

3. Reboot your phone, then try again;

4. If you are using an SD card, please remove it, then try again. If it works, we suggest you change an SD card;

5. Upgradeyour phone to the latest version;

6. Enter Settings>More settings>Backup and Reset>Restore(Reset) all settings, no data or media will be deleted.

You can go to Settings>Screenshot>S-capture(Super screenshot) to turn on/off Record voice. Then the sound will/won`t be recorded while you make a screen recording.

Warmly Tips: Only the sound which can be received by Microphone can be recorded.

The resolution of the screen recording is the resolution of the screen of your phone. If we see it on the bigger screen, it might be not very clear. Moreover, it will be compressed when we transfer it in social media apps, which might decrease its resolution.

The resolution of the screen recording is the same as the resolution of the phone, and it cannot be adjusted. But you can download & install the third-party apps such as “Du Recorder” to achieve it. Steps are below:

1. Download & install “Du Recorder” on your phone;

Enter the app>touch the Settings icon>Video resolution, then you can set the resolution you want.

The resolution of the screenshot is the same as the screen resolution. If the screen resolution of your phone is low, the screenshot might be blurred after zooming out.

In addition, the screenshot will be compressed when it is sent in social media apps, which can also decrease clarity. We recommend you select the Original Image option when uploading or sending screenshots.

For Funtouch OS 3.2 and higher version, the long screenshot can capture 40 screenshots at most.

For Funtouch OS 3.1 and lower version, the long screenshot can capture 15 screenshots at most.

There are two reasons:

1. Screen Capture Protection in Settings>Security & Privacy(Settings>More settings>Screen Capture Protection) is turned on. When enabled, third-party apps are prohibited from taking screenshots or recording the screen during password input so as to prevent password disclosure.

2. Considering the security, some apps set an option “Allow to take a screenshot”. Please go to the settings of these apps to turn on this option, then try again;

Warmly Tips: Screen Capture Protection is only available on the phones with Funtouch OS 4.0 and higher version.
