There might be security issues if your phone is using Public Wi-Fi. Accessing the web from a Wi-Fi Hotspot is not always secure, which could be an issue if you are dealing with sensitive information such as bank details and important passwords or working over a business network. So when you need to connect to network to handle with something important, we recommend you use Data network.

Dual Frequency Wi-Fi means it can support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels.

Our Vivo phone does not support this feature currently. However, you can go to Settings>Wi-Fi>Advanced settings>Wi-Fi sleep policy, turn on Enter the sleep mode when the screen is off. When the screen is off, Wi-Fi will be turned off automatically.

For Funtouch OS 2.6 or lower version, enter Settings>Wi-Fi>Press the Menu button on the left of the Home button>Advanced settings>>Wi-Fi sleep policy to choose “Enter the sleep mode when the screen is off”.

Our phones cannot support to use wireless LAN. If the Wi-Fi part in your phone is damaged, please don`t worry, it can be repaired at our service center.

Please don`t worry, go to Settings>Wi-Fi, scroll down, touch Advanced, turn on Scanning always available. Then the notification won`t pop up.

You can go to Settings>Wi-Fi>Advanced settings>Wi-Fi sleep policy, then choose Always on.

Bluetooth is designed to work on 2.4GHz and also most popular Wi-Fi routers are configured to broadcast their signal on the same frequency by default. When they use the same channels simultaneously, the Wi-Fi network speed might get slow.

If your phone supports 5GHz Wi-Fi and your router can set 5GHz frequency, you can connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi to avoid this issue.

It means the current Wi-Fi is not in good condition. We recommend you connect to it again or change another Wi-Fi.

You can go to Settings>Wi-Fi>Advanced settings>Wi-Fi sleep policy to set Enter the sleep mode when the screen is off.

Please go to Settings>Wi-Fi>Advanced settings>Wi-Fi sleep policy>choose Always on for a try, then try again.

For Funtouch OS 2.6 or lower version, enter Settings>Wi-Fi>Press the Menu button on the left of the Home button>Advanced settings>>Wi-Fi sleep policy to choose “Always on”.
