Sound issues

Please don`t worry, here are some helpful methods for you:

1. Try to listen to other songs or use other music player apps to play music. If it only happens to on one app or several songs, for the app, please uninstall it, then install it again; for the songs, delete download them again from official channels;

2. If it happens to all songs and music player apps, follow these steps for a try:

a. Clean Speaker. Make sure there is no dirt;

b. Go to Settings>More settings>Backup and reset>Restore(Reset) all settings, no data or media will be deleted;

c. Update your phone to the latest version.

If above methods are not effective, please seek help from our service center.

First of all, check if there is dirt in Speaker. If yes, clean it, then listen to music to check if it works. Moreover, we suggest you compare your phone with the same device to check if the sound is similar. If the sound of your phone is lower under the same conditions, you can follow these steps to solve it:

1. Upgrade your phone to the latest version;

2. Enter Settings>More settings> Backup & Reset>Restore(Reset) all settingsDon`t worry, no data or media will be deleted.

If the issue still exists, please seek help from our service center.

If it happens under the regular call:

1. Check whether you click the Mute button of the phone call interface. In this case, another party can not hear your voice;

2. Change time or network environment, then make a call for a try. You can also change another number to check if it happens to all contacts;

3. If it happens to all contacts, please open Recorder to record a recording file, then play it to check if there are sounds. If not, please check if the Microphone is stuck with the dust(Microphone locates the bottom of your phone and you can find its detailed location in Settings>More settings>Manual>Overview and Quick start guide>Introduction to phone exterior). If Microphone is clear, continue following the methods:

4. Update your phone to the latest version;

5. Enter Settings>More settings>Backup and reset>Reset(Restore) all settings(no data or media will be deleted).

If above measures are not effective, please seek help from our service center.

If it happens under the online call and there is no this issue under the regular call:

1. Make sure Microphone permission is allowed. You can check it in Settings>More settings>App manager(Applications>Installed)>the app>Permission(For Funtouch OS 2.5 and lower version, you can check it in i Manager>App manager>Authority manager);

2. Change a network or connect to Wi-Fi with fast network speed, then try again;

3. Enter Settings>More settings>App manager(Applications>Installed)>the app(>Storage), clear data;

4. Update the app and your phone to the latest version;

5. Uninstall it, then install it again;

6. Enter Settings>More settings>Backup and reset>Reset(Restore) all settings(no data or media will be deleted).

If above measures are not effective and the Microphone is well, please feel free to contact us.

Please don`t worry, refer to these methods for a try:

1. Change other songs to check if there is the same issue. If not, the song might be damaged. Please download it again;

2. Try to use other music player apps to play the songs. If it only happens to some app, we recommend you uninstall the app, then install it again;

3. If it happens to all songs and music player apps, please check if the Speaker is stuck with dust;

4. If it only happens with an earphone plugged in. Please confirm that the headset plug is fully inserted into the headset hole or change an earphone and try again;

5. Update your phone to the latest version;

6. Enter Settings>More settings>Backup and reset>Restore(Reset) all settings, no data or media will be deleted.

If it still exists, please seek help from our service center.

If the sounds come from Earpiece and Speaker, please don`t worry, our some phones support to make sounds through Earpiece and Speaker simultaneously to achieve the stereo effect.

If the sounds only come from Earpiece, please follow these steps for a try:

1. Reboot your phone, then try again;

2. Update your phone to the latest version.

3. Go to Settings>More settings>Backup and reset>Restore(Reset) all settings, no data or media will be deleted.

If it still exists, please seek help from our service center.

Please don`t worry, you can follow these steps to fix it:

1. Upgrade your phone to the latest version;

2. Make sure Volume button works normally;

3. If it happens when the earphone is plugged in, change another earphone, then try again;

1. If the signal is weak, the data transfer might interrupt. Please change a time or when the signal gets well, then make a call for a try;

2. Try to make calls with your different friends to check if there is same issue on all calls. If yes, follow these steps for a try:

a. Clean Earpiece. Make sure there is no dirt;

b. Go to Settings>More settings>Backup and reset>Restore(Reset) all settings, no data or media will be deleted;

c. Update your phone to the latest version.

If it happens under the regular call:

1. Make calls with other friends to check if there is the same issue. If not, please let your friend check if he touches Mute button of the phone call interface by accident. In this case, you can not hear his(her) voice;

2. Change time or network environment, then make a call for a try. You can also change another number to check if it happens to all contacts;

3. If it happens to all contacts, but you can hear the voice through the earphone or Speaker, please make an online call to check if you can hear the voice through the Earpiece. If not, check whether it is blocked by the protective film or dirt. If not, continue following the methods:

4. Update your phone to the latest version;

5. Enter Settings>More settings>Backup and reset>Reset(Restore) all settings(no data or media will be deleted).

If it happens under the online call and there is no this issue under the regular call:

If the network speed is slow or there is much noise around, the noise is easy to be generated while video calling. So please make sure you and your friend are in a quiet environment and the network speed of your phones is stable and fast.

If there is still noise, follow these steps for a try:

1. Update your phone and the apps to the latest version;

2. Clean MicrophoneSpeaker and Earpiece. Make sure there is no dirt;

3. Enter Settings>More settings>Backup & Reset>Restore(Reset) all settings. Don`t worry, no data or media will be deleted.

1. Make sure the Record Authority of the app is turned on;

For Funtouch OS 2.6 and higher version, you can go to Settings>More settings>App manager(Applications>Installed)>find the app>Permission, and turn on “Microphone” switch.

For Funtouch OS 2.5 and lower version, please go to i Manager>App manager>Authority manager>Record, then allow audio recording.

2. Reboot your phone, then adjust the volume to the maximum and check again;

3. Update your phone to the latest version;

4. Uninstall the app, then install it from Play Store again;

5. Access Settings>More settings>Backup & Reset>Restore(Reset) all settings. Don`t worry, no data or media will be deleted.

Make sure Microphone is clear and works normally. Open Recorder to record a recording file, then play it to check if there are sounds. If yes, please feel free to contact us.

Please don`t worry, it is normal. While talking on the phone, in order to make sure the talking volume is normal, the video sound will be adjusted to the low level automatically. Hope for your understanding.

Generally, if there is dirt in Microphone or much noise around you while recording, the recording may not be clear. So please make sure there is no dirt in Microphone and you are in a quiet place. If this issue still exists, please perform below steps for a try:

1. Make sure there is no dirt in Speaker;

2. Enter Settings>System update, upgrade your phone to the latest version;

3. Enter Settings>More Settings>App manager>touch More at the upper right corner>Show system processes>Recorder>Storage>Clear data(For Funtouch OS 4.0 and lower version, access Settings>More settings>Applications>All>Recorder>Storage>Clear data);

4. Access to Settings>More settings>Backup & Reset>Restore(Reset) all settings. Don`t worry, no data or media will be deleted;
