vivo account

There are two methods to register a vivo account: 1. Enter our official website: India: http://passport.vivo.com/in/#/loginGlobal (other regions): http://my-passport.vivo.com/#/loginFollow the instructions and select a region to create your vivo account.

2. Create a vivo account in vivoCloud application: a. Open vivoCloud, click “Login”. If you have already logged in your own Google account on your phone, you can tap “Google account login” at the middle bottom of the screen, select your Google account to log in vivo account directly. Note: Google account login function is only supported on vivo account with 5.8.0.0 or higher versions;

FYI, vivo account version can be found in Settings, for example: For Funtouch OS_9: Settings– More Settings — App manager — More — Show system processes– find vivo account; For Funtouch OS_10: Settings– Applications and Permissions — App manager — More — Show system– find vivo account; For Funtouch OS_10.5 and higher: Settings– Applications &notifications/Applications — See all apps — More — Show system– find vivo account;

b. If you don’t have a Google account, you can click “Register”, select a method of registration (either Phone number or Email), select Country/Region, then enter your phone number or Email address, click “Next”. A verification code will be sent to your phone number or Email address, enter it and set up an account password, tap “Registration completed”.

Kindly Note: Currently, only some countries/regions’ phone number can be used to register a vivo account. If you eager to register vivo account via a local number, please give us a feedback. By the way, if you don’t have an effective number for vivo account registration, please do not select “中国大陆(Mainland China )” as the registration country, otherwise you will be required to enter an effective number for certification everytime you try to login.

The vivo account can be used to back up data such as contacts, text messages, web bookmarks, notes, and blacklists in vivoCloud. You can also use it to log in to other vivo applications. Important data generated in the application will be saved in your vivo account. In addition, some vivo services need to log in to the vivo account. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you register for an in vivo account.

Please follow the following steps to retrieve the password for your vivo account: (1) Go to vivo’s official website: India: http://passport.vivo.com/in/#/loginGlobal (other regions): http://my-passport.vivo.com/#/loginClick “Forgot password?” and enter your phone number or email address to reset the password for your vivo account. (2) a. Enter vivoCloud and tap “Retrieve password” on the sign-in screen or “Forgot password” on the sign-out screen. b. Enter your vivo account, and your bound email or phone number will receive a verification from vivo. c. Check the message or email sent by vivo, enter the verification code, and tap “Next”. d. Reset your password and sign in to your account.

Change the phone number:
(1) If you have signed in to the vivo account:
Go to Settings — Accounts & sync/Accounts — vivo account — Account & security — Security phone number — Change, verify your identity, and change the phone number.
(2) If you have not signed in to the vivo account:
Tap Sign-in issue — Phone number has been deactivated, verify your binding information, and change the phone number as prompted.

Changing the email address:
Go to Settings — Accounts & sync/Accounts, vivo account — Account & security — Security email address — Change, verify the change via the old email address, and change the email address.

You can enter Settings– Accounts & sync/Accounts — vivo account –select “exit account”, enter the password, then you can log out of the currently logged in vivo account and log in to the new account.
If you cannot log out of your account due to reasons such as forgetting your password or not using your mobile phone number, you can click “Forgot Password” and “Retrieve Password” as prompted on the page.

Go to Settings — Accounts & sync/Accounts, select the vivo account, and tap Account & security — Privacy and cancellation — Cancel account.
Note:
1. For phones released outside of China, the account version must be later than 6.0.2.0.
2. Accounts registered outside of China can only be canceled on phones released outside China, and vice versa.
3. The account to be canceled and the phone used to cancel the account should preferably be in the same region, otherwise account cancellation may fail. For example, accounts registered in India can only be deleted using phones released in India.

Note: Canceled accounts cannot be restored. Please make sure that want to cancel your account before proceeding.

When registering and binding a mobile phone number, if it prompts that the number has been registered or bound to other vivo account (a mobile phone number can only be registered or bound to one vivo account), it is recommended that you use other numbers. vivo accounts do not support tracing back previously used passwords. You can only try to remember them by yourself. You are recommended to record passwords in a bookmark or document.

Go to Settings–Account and sync/Account–Tap vivo account–Select “Logout”, and enter the password to log out of the current vivo account. After that, you can log in to the new account.
If you fail to log out of your account due to forgetting your password or invalid phone number, you can tap “Forgot password” and follow the prompts on the page to “Retrieve password”.

The prompt of expired account means that the login status has expired while the account still exists. It may be because: 1. You have not used related services for a long time. In this case, you need to reverify your account information and log in to the account again;
2. You have reset the password. In this case, you need to use the new password or use the account and password registered with the old phone number to verify.
3. Your account is frozen. When you log in, log out, or change the binding, there is a prompt that “Your account is frozen. Please contact the customer service”.

A vivo account can be logged in on multiple devices at the same time. A vivo account can be logged in on up to 10 devices at the same time. In the case of more than 10 devices, the login status of the first logged in device will expire (when the account is logged in on the 11th device, the status of the vivo account that is logged on the first device will expire).

For account security, your account will be locked for three hours after five consecutive incorrect password inputs. You can log in with the verification code, or tap “Forgot password” on the password input interface and follow the prompts to quickly retrieve password to log in.

Verification failure may be caused by network delay. We recommend that you try the verification again after changing the network.

1. You have 3 attempts to change the phone number/email (3 different phone numbers or emails), and tapping “Send verification code” represents one attempt. After 3 attempts, it will prompt “Too many attempts to change the phone number/email. Please try again tomorrow”, and you need to wait for 24 hours until the account is automatically unlocked;
2. Verify the security question. You can verify the identity and reset the password through the security question. If you fail to correctly answer the question 5 consecutive times within 24 hours, the password will be locked; even if you appeal to reset the password, the password will not be unlocked, and you need to wait for 24 hours;
3. If the password verification fails 5 consecutive times, the password will be locked. Tap “Forgot password” to enter the “Retrieve password” interface, and reset the password without appeal to unlock the password.

Currently, phone numbers in Mainland China cannot be used to register accounts in other regions, and can only be used to register accounts in mainland China, that is, domestic phone numbers can only be used to resister domestic accounts.

If your phone number has not been used to register or bound to a vivo account, there is a prompt “The account does not exist. Please enter again”.

1. Change the network and resend a verification code
2. Since the service may delay, you can wait for a few minutes and try again
3. You can check whether the corresponding SMS and email are blocked
4. Check whether your login account email or mobile phone number is entered correctly

You can follow these steps to delete the files backed up in vivoCloud: Take contacts as an example: 1. Back up your contacts through other channels;
2. In the Contacts app, delete the contacts stored locally to one. As for the contacts saved in the third-party account, don’t need delete them;
3. Go to vivoCloud–Contacts–Data arrangement–Upload to overwrite, then the files saved in vivoCloud will be transferred to Recycle bin;
4. Go to Recycle bin, delete all the contacts.
Warmly Tips: vivoCloud in Funtouch OS 2.6 and lower version does not support this feature.
